Prayer Is Power

If we desire to experience God’s wisdom and favor in our business, then we must start each day in prayer, seeking and asking for God’s help. The next step, as you read God’s word, thank Him for His promises and decree His word into the Heavenlies.

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

Joshua 1:8 (NIV) Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Job 22:28 (KJV) Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Matthew 6:9–13 (ESV) “Pray then like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'”

This prayer is a simple one: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.’ So God granted him what he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10
